People appear to not understand that the weight difference to the force of gravity is between the Earth and either object, not the objects from one another. So while there's a huge difference in weight between feathers and a bowling ball, the weight difference between the earth and feathers vs the weight difference between the earth and a bowling ball, is damn near non existent.
