this is exactly my experience. she never communicated what she needed, then blamed me for everything she never said. she blindsided me and left. I became a villain and she became someone I didn't know.

This is frighteningly insightful. Furthermore, their threshold for vulnerability is so low, it’s out of touch with what most other people’s is. So in their mind they’ve made things clear but to the other person they’ve not communicated anything at all.

They don’t express their feelings because they can’t stand the idea of someone disagreeing with them. They can’t seem to understand that disagreeing is a part of life. We can disagree with one another and at the same time respect each others feelings. We can’t go through life and just expect everyone to agree with us regardless of what, that’s rediculous

Had almost 3 wonderful years with her. I love her more than anything, but when I moved in with her it all fell apart. Suddenly she lost her autonomy, felt suffocating and loss of independence. I’ve since moved out, but now she’s hard deactivated after me staying with her for a couple days after my surgery. Now I go days without hearing from her, when she reaches out she’s normal telling me she loves me and misses me but will not see me in person because I’m exhausting and too heavy but she doesn’t know why. I’m so burned out right now. I just want my best friend back. And oh the grievance thing is real too.

@Magnacious: She left me four months ago after we both confessed feelings. We were casual for 7 months. Said she was craving more from me, sees potential, thought about a future, etc. I just found out today she started dating someone a couple weeks after me. Literally told me when she left that she was getting too attached to me and she’s in no way shape or form ready for a relationship. Said she has so much to work on before she ever steps foot into the dating realm. Said she’s not pursuing anyone or making moves. She said in the past she has gotten into relationships because she was deprived and she doesn’t want to be reckless anymore, and that she’d end up hurting a good person. Well,I should’ve known she’d do it again. I actually believed her when she said she’s going to work on herself. She reiterated it so many times. Also said she’s going to learn to be okay being alone 💀 I’m so hurt and feel so disrespected. She’s blocked on everything

I never understood why it was so hard for her to communicate her feelings to me. I always told her it was ok to tell me how she felt or things that bothered her but, she never did. This ended up ruining our relationship.
