Nobody else’s music affects me more than Prince’s. I feel like he raised me and grew up with me at the same time. His evolution was a beautiful thing to see. Never a dull moment because he was always up to something and you knew that it would be something totally new. Different sounds, different looks, different bands… Prince, for me, was different things at different times. He could be your brother, your father, your lover or your son, depending upon what song you were listening to.
