@drphiliptisdall: Medical education has a real problem: students have more access to information than ever, but that does not mean they are being taught well. A recorded lecture is not automatically good teaching. A searchable internet is not the same as a tutor. And passive exposure to content is not the same as learning how to reason through a patient problem. The value of a teacher is not simply delivering information. The value is helping students organize it, question it, apply it, and recognize what they do not yet understand. That is what medical students need if they are going to learn to think like doctors.
