Ok so I have a flash forge 5m and it ok I’ve had my fair share of issues with software and the printer it’s self. But I want to get a multi feed filament machine and I’m thinking the Bambu labs P1s combo. I’ve heard great things but does anyone else care to weigh in on a solid machine in a similar price range of less than 500-600?

No more skills needed. Just gotta keep the filament dry, kinda maintain the printers, and keep the bed level (unless it's auto bed leveled which is most of them now)

I have an Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus and overall I’m happy with it. I would like to get a multicolor printer that doesn’t start over when there’s a power outage (if one even exists) as I have had a few fails because of loss of power

My P2S is low friction, My U1 has more friction but it's soooo fast for multi color, My K2 Plus feels half baked and I keep forgetting to print pla with the door wide open to prevent heat creep. That said it's hard to tell the difference in a final print.

It’s just brand preference and experience…my experience with past creality printers was horrible…why would I give them another try where as my experience with Bambu has been superb so they get my money when I need a printer of creality put the effort early in as they do now, I may still be using creality

There’s still plenty to do for those of us who like to ‘tinker’ but it’s more with the settings than the hardware nowadays. The real fun is actually designing items that maximise the new machines rather than printing off endless generic crap. I’m so looking forward to when the current multi head battle is over and focus is put on achieving even greater quality of print even quicker and the holy grail of printing with ZERO supports…can’t wait!

im looking at getting a 3d printer. I dont know what one i should get. I dont need multi colour because ill be printing 1 colour mostly but the idea of having a printer automatically changes filament when it runs out is good and I do plan on printing petgcf. anyone have any recommendations?
