Many people say 99 Killua is "colder" or "edgier" but for me he just came across as more emotionally repressed and conflicted. The fact that in this version they first met crossing stares makes it seem like the skateboard scene was Killua just trying to get Gon's attention Gon is indeed more moe, but he isn't as innocent as some people take him for (Except if it's the Radio show, Junko Takeuchi loves to make Gon very baby lol)
