@thefragranceranker: A brand that I have really been enjoying recently is @لابونير | Le Bonheur and whilst Black Cavalier 6 tops the list as my favourite from the brand, following close behind in 2nd and 3rd place are The Story Sport and The Story. The Story Sport is just a masterpiece such a fresh and bright fragrance with Grapefruit, Bergamot and lemon in the opening, a trio of citrus that just works so well together. The middle has fig, pink pepper and jasmine, but I don’t find this overly floral or spicy at all they just blend together with those citruses so well, and the cedarwood and amber in the base just ground it so well. It’s been described as similar to Fico di Amalfi by Acqua di Parma, the main difference is however a lack of an orange note and whilst I have smelt that, I can’t say it’s one I have worn. The Story Sport is a classic fragrance, citrussy, aromatic and a little woody and I am really enjoying it. The Story is very different, and like Black Cavalier 6 quite unique amongst the fragrances in my collection. Described as an Oriental Woody Fragrance, I shouldn’t like this as much as I do, it’s a weird collection of notes, they shouldn’t work but they do. Grapefruit and Bergamot, strong start. Coconut ok I see that, Basil, I’m sorry Basil, Celery, what on earth is this Patchouli, Vetiver, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Amber. Somehow it just works and the result is magnificent. Le Bonheur just hit slightly different and I’m really enjoying getting to discover them as a brand.
