I think everybody forgot that before queen Victoria all the wedding dresses were colorful. She wanted something different for her wedding that she chose a white dress. so people can have their dress the color they want.

When I got married, I went by myself for this very reason. I also paid for it myself too. I wanted what I wanted. They saw me on my wedding day. Too late to make negative comments!!

Former consultant here- 3. options - 1. buy 2 gowns, one for pic for family, one for pics and ceremony for her. 2. Wear something more traditional for ceremony, wear a pink dress for reception. 3. Do whatever the hell she wants because it’s her damn day. ☺️….. Mom is so judgmental. It screams insecurity. So cringe. I hope she goes with #3!
