Oh how I miss a well-spoken, intelligent, morally upstanding, empathetic, compassionate, people- focused president. President Obama is one of the best. I can’t wait to see this center! I’m sure it is top notch and Smithsonian worthy. He would have it no other way, I’m sure I needed this beautifully composed and well thought out speech. I forgot what it feels like to be inspired by a president. It’s been a long time since we’ve had this. I was an 18 y/o college student in Chicago when Obama was first elected (I'm a Chicagoan) - I cried during his speeches back then, throughout his presidency, and to this day. I miss the Obama years and the hope we had - I'm scared we won't get that again.
