@geoffpirnie: * I’m not making money. * The comments affect me more than I’d like to admit. * My relationship with myself has deteriorated. * I overthink almost every piece of content I post. * I know exactly who I want to help, but I keep getting overwhelmed by how. * I’ve become more afraid of being vulnerable as this platform has grown. * I feel distant from the very people I originally started this page to connect with. * Every time I open my phone, I feel anxiety. * I have opportunities people would dream of, and I feel guilty for struggling at all. * I know where I’m going, but I have no idea how to get there. The thing that bothers me most is that I’ve spent this year talking about self-abandonment and now I’ve caught myself doing it again. And not in relationships this time. But right here. Trying to be the right thing. Say the right thing. Build the right thing. Instead of just being my damn self. Having said all of that, I genuinely believe everything is going to work out. Certainly not because I think it’s all going to go according to plan. Nothing in life EVER does. Didn’t expect to get divorced. Didn’t expect to quit my job. Didn’t expect to start this page. NONE of this looked the way I thought it would, so why am I still confident? Because I’ve learned that things don’t work out because you force them to. They work out because you stay with yourself through till the end. When you stay rooted in your values. When you question your actions honestly. When you do the right thing when nobody is watching. When you choose not to abandon yourself. When you keep showing up when it feels impossible. And when you have FAITH. You stop needing life to go exactly the way you planned and start to trust that whatever comes next, you’ll be there. Alright that’s it, have a wonderful day. ✌️
