Wonderful to see this discussed. I’ve worked in fashion capitals and more regionally in the UK for various luxury brands and the regional brands have to work so much harder to grow and develop, and often have a more creative or unique point of view. Also supporting the regional economy, giving those not privileged enough to be able to live in London the opportunity to work in an industry they love. Please also check out the amazing grads of Northumbria University - I saw some amazing collections from them this week.
