He is not lying people. I was hired to teach 5th grade ELA and when they saw me teaching spelling, I was reprimanded. I was not allowed to teach spelling at all.

my daughter came into 1st grade when phonics was back in the classrooms, she’s reading at a 6th grade level, but we’re currently tutoring for reading comprehension & math fluency she’s going to 3rd grade this fall

as a math teacher, I was told NOT to help students with foundations skills like fractions before using fractions in an equation. I was told "they will figure it out as they move through the curriculum because that's what the curriculum is designed to do". guess what the curriculum didn't do?
