I WOULD NEVER cut a lot off at first ask a little at a time. Kids see it and don’t understand it is going to be a while for it to grow back

As a kid who always ended up getting a bob and hating every time on myself, thank you for leaving her length but giving her change! And also showing her it’s ok to be disappointed but helping her understand it’s temporary ur a good mom

As someone who was forced to have long hair, thank you for allowing your baby to experience a haircut. I love long hair, but I always chop mine off because I remember having long hair was mandatory rather than optional. I'm currently working on growing my hair out after shaving it completely off.

Ok but I bet all she hears is "Never cut it" "your hair is beautiful long never cut it" etc etc !! Ofcourse praise and love isn't a bad thing but if you tell someone to not do something else it will be less beautiful then it is not then it will make them insecure (if they do it)

I cut my hair really really short when I was young. Did I regret it, yes. Do I love my parents for letting me figure it out on my own and experience it, also yes. I will never regret trying it and looking back now, I looked like a baddy

My daughter who is 4 hated her long hair so she begged begged so I took her she cut it into a pixie she loved it now she wants to grow it back out it’s just hair it will grow back but the express their voice is what you listen too
