@yourgfneedsadivorce: Full disclosure: I am not licensed in #Arizona , but I heard about the new changes to the #law in #childcustody cases and was SO excited! It hasn't been officially passed, but it's on the way and it will make #domesticviolence a primary consideration in determining #custody (as opposed to just one of many #bestinterestsofthechild factors, which is how it still works in #Virginia ). Between our changes here this July 1 and this on the horizon in Arizona, I'm hopeful for a better, safer future for children .... and hopefully much LESS legislation named after kids k*lled by abusive parents.
