Sales is the most emotional but not game. Getting others to open their wallets to spend big money is them making an emotional decision and for them to trust you with their wallet they need to trust you have their best interest. So if you let see you being down it is going to show doubt. But it is ok to long time clients to show some of that emotion because if you humanize with your long time customers and you are still there for them in the suck you will show them that no matter what you will be consistent which also builds trust. Keep grinding man. I am a Sales director for one of the biggest truck dealers in the country and respect the hustle man!

Pro tip: don’t take it personally:) reframe your thinking and put an emphasis on doing a needs analysis by qualifying your customer. Not every customer qualifies to be a client of yours which is much better than low quality clients. It’s a lot easier to sell to a prospect when your are looking for disqualification as opposed to any reason to sell. Basically play hard to get
