well,he lived a good life at least for everyone to went all out like this despite their busy schedules some went for the wake keeping and still attend this he was a good man,he lived a fulfilled life,he made impact,he touched lives, he travels the world,lived a comfortable life and did if not 95% of every good things of life and also know God so I think his worth celebrating

I don't know about other Igbo communities but where I come from, it's a tradition to host a proper funeral for anyone from eighteen years and above. It involves setting up of canopies and chairs, playing of music and cultural dances by the kingsmen, villagers and the age group of the deceased then offering refreshments to people who gathered for condolence visits who must have brought cash envelopes to the bereaved family.
