I worked at a place where they would gift gifts cards a lot. I used to get employee of the month constantly so at some point they just started filling the card automatically. I left that job and they forgot about it. I got free Starbucks everyday for a whole year 😭

We actually had this happen with a gift card that was given to a client. They had it saved to their Starbucks account but whoever set up the gift card tied it to a company card. It took like 2 years for accounting to notice and the client didn’t think anything of it. It was like $500 or $600 over that period of time. 😅

Years ago, there was a glitch with the redemption system at the licensed store inside of where I work. I’d use my stars for a free drink and a few hours later, they’d reverse and be back to my account. 😂😅 Wasn’t MY fault, but I definitely would treat my coworkers to some free drinks every once in a while lol
