Thank you for making this video. I wish more people thought about the ideas behind distributism. Having read a lot of G.K. Chesterton, I’ve always thought distributism comes closer than modern corporate capitalism to what many people imagine as the American Dream: ownership. Not just wages. Not just consumption. Ownership of something you can build, create value in, and pass on. For most Americans, that starts with homeownership. The higher ideal is widespread ownership of productive property, a small business, a farm, a trade, tools, or a worker-owned enterprise. The point is independence, dignity, and families having something real to build from.

Also the thing that distinguishes Distributism with Capitalism is that by making everyone propertized they remove the distinction between a worker and a owner so the Worker isnt subservient to the Capital and Wage labour is effectively null. by Marxists standards they should agree that Distributism is anti capitalist.
