@web21104: Getting Brett ready for swim therapy isn't as simple as grabbing the keys and heading out the door. Lately, with our project going on, I've realized that I sometimes create my own obstacles. Having to use the back door instead of the front makes things a little more inconvenient, and it adds one more step to an already busy routine. On swim therapy days, my brain is focused on one thing: swim shorts, swim shorts, swim shoes. I forgot them one time, and ever since then I make sure they're the first things I think about before we leave. Then it's packing his therapy bag, gathering clothes, loading up his stroller, making sure we've got everything he needs, and helping him safely into the vehicle. One of the biggest blessings is Dana. She is so enjoyable and brings such a positive, energetic attitude to every session. Her enthusiasm pulls so much out of Brett physically, and it's amazing to watch what he's able to accomplish with her encouragement. Every outing takes planning and preparation, but swim therapy has helped Brett so much that every bit of the extra work is worth it. I'm also incredibly thankful to the Choctaw Nation for providing this therapy and giving Brett the opportunity to continue growing stronger.
