Dog Ears is the only way to go! You don't have to pay for a bookmark that can fall out or be misplaced. Anyone can remove the bookmark. Even if they unflattering the dog ear you can always tell where it was.

Audio book is for convenience.
Ebook is for efficiency.
Physical Books are for a relax time.
All Books. Real Books. Through the cycle of my day to day life.

Books are to be READ and USED, not perfectly preserved with no one touching them. The sign a book has lived a good life and done its job is wear and tear.

1. NO, I used to do that but I found bookmarks are better because they don't ruin rereadability
2. Short. I prefer anything under 300 pages I think the 280 mark is actually perfect. Annihilation, Piranesi, The Hobbit. Love me a short(er) book 🥰
3. Physical. I'm sure audiobooks are better for my adhd, but I just can't sit down and listen to an audio book.
4. Not sure what this is in reference to, like a book from the 1600s or a book WRITTEN in the 1600s? I don't really have a preference for that but I'd rather have a new copy of a book
5. No. Matter of fact, the only series I've come close to finishing is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Funny enough I'm ALSO reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and I also will make zero promises haha

If it’s MY book I’m dog earing the shit out of it. “But it damages the page!” So? Who cares the a half inch corner of a few pages are slightly creased? Not me, and you know why that matters? Cuz it’s MY BOOK. They’re meant to be read and enjoyed not look pretty on your shelf.

I think it’s fine to dog ear pages if you want. I just wouldn’t do my books like that. I don’t see a point when there’s so many cute and fun bookmarks to use.
