A person pauses for a moment before a question that no one can escape: What will remain of my trace when the pages are folded, the record of the moment is closed, and what I see today as present becomes nothing more than a distant past? Perhaps the more important question is: Why do I press the like button? Why do I write this comment? Why do I share this post? Have I ever asked myself whether this will stand as evidence for me before God or against me? Is this fleeting moment truly worth being recorded in my book of deeds? Much of what fills people’s eyes today is nothing more than brief flashes that shine and then fade away, passing moments that give the illusion of happiness but leave behind nothing but emptiness. Satan may adorn certain words and actions until a person believes they are gains, while their effects remain written on the pages and preserved in the records until the Day of Judgment. Life passes quietly. It pays no attention to the noise of posting or the crowds of comments. Rather, it records every word, every deed, and every influence left behind. Every word we write, every image we publish, and every comment we leave may one day stand before us, for nothing small or great escapes being accounted for. Trials have multiplied and challenges have become intertwined to the point that a person hardly knows whether he is struggling against disease, hardship, rising costs, ignorance, or the loss of modesty and virtue. For many people, standards have become confused, and morals, honor, dignity, justice, mercy, and humanity are often treated as secondary matters, even though they are the foundation of healthy societies and upright living. Yet praise belongs to God in every circumstance. We praise Him and thank Him for His visible and hidden blessings, and we ask Him to rectify our condition and the condition of Muslims everywhere, to grant us sincerity in our words and deeds, to make what we leave behind a witness in our favor rather than against us, to grant us a good ending, and to bless us with protection, well-being, and a righteous conclusion to our lives. O God, make our deeds sincere for Your sake alone. Help us remember You, thank You, and
