that means it wasn't a certified pre-owned cuz if it is a certified pre-owned that warranty transfers to the second owner. this thing has probably been wrecked and they couldn't certify it

Kia and Hyundai, when you are a second own or buy a used car you lose the 100k warranty that the original owner gets.

Must be dealer dependent. I've bought a used Kia from the Kia dealership and the factory bumper to bumper and 100k powertrain warranties transferred to me.

It's literally the same with any car, 2nd owner only gets the lowest warranty..For example Chevy has 5yr 60k power train 2nd owner only gets the 3yr 36k...

That’s exactly true! We bought a 2020 Kia Forte for our son as a used car. Found out real quick the 3/36 warranty on second owners.

The same thing happened to a coworker of mine. They wouldn't cover her car because she was the second owner, and the car only had 26,000miles 😳 she needed a transmission replacement
