it looks really cute but you are definitely at fault. client doesn't need to say "this is a video" and she already said "how much for this cake" which is basically asking for the exact cake.

She should have been very specific of what she wanted. This is a 50/50 fault. 100% fault is not on you. As a customer you need to be very specific about what you want. Bakers aren’t mind readers. I like what you did though it’s really nice 🥰🥰

While I agree it's the baker's mistake here, the bigger mistake IMHO is being willing to identically copy someone else's design.... IP law is a real thing...

Please start taking the balance payment at least 3 days prior to pickup. A lot of people don’t want to pay and will complain about anything

when a potential client asks "how much for this cake?" I think that's when you say "I can make something similar/inspired by/close to that but I can't do an exact replica of that cake". but she shouldn't have let you make the toppers if she wasn't going to come get them, and she got a similar (and very nice) cake so she should have paid half price or something

I can’t believe my cake design has made it to the USA 🥹 I love your interpretation of the design! The extra balls are a great effect and I’m sure any Chicago bull fan would love that cake! We love customers not sending us the right information of what they’re wanting to begin with I swear they think we are mind readers 😂
