My sister is like this. She has NEVER been wrong ever in her entire life, and if you correct them, you’re the ahole. Good friends are honest and give you reality checks.

I don’t consider myself a friend unless I am honest with the person I care about. If they don’t like what I have to say that’s their cross to bear, not mine. I always try to be gentle but firm about it, because yeah, 3 years is a long time to still be holding onto an ex or what he’s doing in life now
