Listen. If I know nothing else, I know Chevy didn’t make a 327 in ’55. The 327 didn’t come out til ’62. And it wasn’t offered in the Bel Air with a four-barrel carburetor til ’64. However, in 1964 the correct ignition timing would be 4 degrees before top dead center.

mechanics are expensive, I don't mean that in a derogatory way, it's just true. we're paying for your time, your tools, your knowledge, to get the job done right. I worked at an oil change place for years. I always got "an oil change is 100 bucks?" yeah .. you're literally paying for someone to do it lol

People just really don’t appreciate how complicated cars actually are. The intricacies especially of engines is insane, it’s kind of wild how well it all just works most of the time. Of fking course it’s expensive as hell to get stuff fixed
