Conversations like these have been going on for some time regarding data centers being built in the inner city specifically, this area in a populated, predominantly Black area. Which is why many are atleast pushing for a moratorium. 2. At this particular meet, the developer presented the development as a “computational research space” and has denied it being an AI data center. This feels misleading to many residents. 3. Im not claiming to be the expert on this or AI data centers and potential harm but I do know that there are many other spaces that this data center can be constructed, so I wonder, why here??
