He just wanted a happy life with someone who loves him for who he is and he also struggled a lot with being in a constant fight between dark and light obviously, so everyone viewed him as a „villainous“ Hero if they ever saw him as any kind of hero and never just as a good guy even when a hero is a he wanted to be he wanted to be a man his sons could look up to and someone you could love with all your heart (and thankfully in the end belle and Gideon do exactly that)❤️
