Ive gotten some cards for extremely cheap on Whatnot but Ive also seen a $1 card sell for $15. Some sellers are pretty good and then you get the annoying ones that get upset when people don't up bid to their liking. Like bro you started the bid at $1 with 2 people in the stream don't be surprised if it sells for $1.

I only buy from one single seller who strictly sells singles (no sealed) starting at $1 auctions and they show the condition of every card they sell so you know what you’re bidding on. It’s been great for me but ik there are waaaay more bad sellers than good

Tbh I mostly stick to a small few for actually buying and the rest I follow to try and win giveaways lol. Gotten some neat sealed stuff from my time using it.

I mainly buy from two card shops that do these. When they try to clear older stock that aren't moving, they do $1 starts and state if a card is off centre and stuff too, so people don't over pay. I purchased a few cards that they said have small dints in them. For next to nothing.

I get some stuff off whatnot every now and then because if you know what you’re doing you can get good deals, but I loaded up one a couple days ago and some dude was hyping the chat so much that pretty much every single card was going for over double market

I love whatnot. in Germany there are nearly no bad people and the worst you have to look out for is overspending on breaks or spots. those formats aren't really ideal for people subsceptible for gambling. also single cards are always sold at Card market prices or lower.
