@aeriscarter: Please no one use this as an excuse to hate on Claire 😭 Claire is an amazing character who is canonically a mother figure to Sherry 💕 and who sacrificed a great deal to spend every spare minute with her unofficial adoptive daughter after returning from Europe with her brother in the aftermath of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. 🛫 This is 100% just a joke, because Claire mentions that she smells foul 😷 after making her way through the sewers in the Resident Evil 2 remake, and her clothes were contaminated in the process. ☣️ I used to be flabbergasted that someone would give away 🎁 an object of such monetary and sentimental value as the custom embossed leather jacket 🧥 her brother provided her to match his aviator jacket in the Resident Evil 2 remake (or, in the original Resident Evil 2, her brother’s actual flight suit from the airforce that she cut up and altered ✂️), but then I remembered that it was smeared with God knows what from the sewers 🕳️ and that she would have probably had to dispose of it 🚮anyway when she made it out of Raccoon City, lest it carry any traces of T-virus or worse. 🦠 So Sherry was walking around in the booty juice jacket feeling thankful 😭🦃 I’m a little bit distraught that the weight I lost from the bug and the subsequent concussion metabolism has made this costume I worked so hard on (that used to fit perfectly) look so loose, so I’m going to double down on my efforts to fill it out again with some Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, maybe! 🍰 #ClaireRedfield #ResidentEvil2 #ResidentEvil #ResidentEvil2remake #residentevilcosplay
