The OB I saw the other day asked if I wanted to have a VBAC and she said my tubes can still be removed if I have a VBAC. I thought for sure I’d have to have a C-section again because I want my tubes removed and she said it isn’t necessary. Made my day and totally reduced my stress.

Absolutely!!! My 2nd born was a C-section. I had 3 more after that vaginally.!

Induction that ended with C-section for my first baby just because it was taking too long. My second baby i walked in the hospital on 10cm and my OB was pissed. Since then my third was a home birth and it was such a pleasurable experience. I’m pregnant with my fourth now planning another home birth. But yeah long story short, these providers don’t really like vbacs. It’s hard to find some one that actually supports that

Honestly I did the second for a piece of mind and save my mental health. My first C-section was the same story as yours I was terrified. Had a horrible postpartum experience. I opted for a 2nd C-section had a wonderful experience after birth. Postpartum experience was much better. I also knew I didn't want to have anymore kids.❤️

My first one I had her virtually my second one I had a C-section I do plan on having more and I did hear that you could have the vagina after a C-section as long as it wasn’t like serious risk factors leading up to why you had to have the C-section you just have to let your doctor know that that’s what you want, but I’m not gonna lie. You were the first woman I seen do that these type of things wasn’t a thing back in the day and a lot of people are still stuck from stuff that’s back in the day. They feel if they have one C-section they gotta keep continuing to have C-sections. That’s not true.

My first was vaginal my second was ER c section after being told his heart rate was decreasing and he wasn’t descending. Now im pregnant with my 3rd they say im a good VBAC candidate but im nervous about uterine rupture

Her reasons for the c section is the same as mine !! This second baby im aiming for VBAC and my midwives are on board and I said just in case anything happened I’ll opt for another one but if not I’m trying for a vaginal

I had a c section for my first child ! & I was so adamant to find an OBGYN who support VBacs and was all about women ! She was phenomenal my second birth was a successful VBac only lasted all of 20 minutes ! I will say vaginal birth is no damn joke (just based off my experience) but I am beyond grateful I had that experience 🩷

I’m so glad your bringing awareness to this. My doctor was for me having a vbac with my second. But I went it to preterm labor. I was hoping so badly to be one of those who had a successful vbac. I feel like it heals your past birthing experiences.
