@jessie_morales: Okay maybe that's a little dramatic not really. but also... Because after this last chemo, the steroid rage hit me HARD. Like...l was so angry. Snapping over nothing. So emotional. And honestly just not myself at all. I've been taking the full steroid dose every round because it really does help with less nausea, less rashes, all of it. But this time? It just didn't feel worth it. The anger, the insomnia, the way I felt mentally... it was too much. So I finally spoke up. lasked my oncologist if we could lower my steroid dose. And that's something I feel like more of us need to hear..you don't have to just deal with every side effect. This is your body. You're allowed to advocate for yourself. You're allowed to ask for changes. And honestly...my husband would probably say this was a life-saving decision But really if something feels off, say something. You deserve to feel as okay as possible through all of this #breastcancer #breastcancerjourney #breastcancerawarness

Also ask about potassium supplementation to help combat roid rage! I’m a peds oncologist and it’s so real. Helps every toddler up to young adult I’ve given it too.
