If I had to name one major ICK, it would be: no cable management!🤬 That’s why, our whole wifi router / Philips Hue bridge situation has been bothering me to the MAX! Finally took care of it and this little cabinet makes everything so much tidier.🥹👏 Also there’s still enough air flow and so far, no issues with the signal. 🛜✅ What do you think of this solution and how is your router situation at home? All credits go to @ergobuilds who inspired me to try it out. #ikeahack #ikeahacks #ikeaideas #ikea_hacks_and_ideas #DIY #homehacks #wifirouter #homeimprovement #designfurniture #interior #interiordesign #interiorstyling #interiordesignideas #designinspiration #interiorlove #homedecor #mylvngrm #livingroominspiration #cornersofmyhome #postitfortheaesthetics #enhet #fyp #foryou #foryoupage❤️❤️

In January 2010, a team of Japanese researchers led by Toshiyuki Nakagaki built a Petri dish the size of greater Tokyo. At every major rail station — Yokohama, Chiba, Omiya, Hachioji — they placed a single oat flake. At the center, where Tokyo Station stands, they placed Physarum polycephalum. A slime mold. Single-celled. No brain. No nervous system. No central plan. Twenty-six hours later, they came back. The mold had reached every flake. Connected every station. Through a network of pulsing yellow tubes that, when laid over a map of the actual Tokyo subway, almost perfectly matched the system human engineers had spent a century designing. Same trade-off between length and redundancy. Same connections. Same shortcuts. A blob of yellow had solved a problem mathematicians call NP-hard — the Steiner tree problem — using a single rule: Where there is flow, build. Where there is none, withdraw. In 2008, Nakagaki won the Ig Nobel Prize for showing this same organism could solve mazes. In 2010, the journal Science published the Tokyo result. A creature with no brain solved a problem we still teach in graduate school.
