Apple is not contributing to the problem. Most of their AI is running on device, and their cloud models are puny in comparison to other companies. Apple has been protecting consumers from most price surges for awhile, hence why Mac Mini’s took a surge in sales because they were affordable AI boxes for hobbyists.
