I told my German boyfriend that my cat is my baby and I gave birth to him, and then showed him an OBVIOUS montage photo of my cat in a human ultrasound! I was expecting a laugh, but he got silent and then said how he is genuinely worried about my mental health cause I keep saying I gave birth to my cat and I should know it isn’t physically possible! So ever since then, I have to say I am joking whenever I make a joke like an idiot!

German on my dad’s side. I had a hard time understanding sarcasm until I realized ppl thought I was being funny when I was telling them what i honestly thought of them. my “sarcasm” is so good ppl cant tell when I’m joking…it’s cuz I’m not 🤣
