People don’t realize u don’t get to quit being a mom just because u go into labor. I had a 9 year gap between my older two and third one. I was soooo stressed about childcare

Did any of your babies have jaundice? My 2 babies who were induced had jaundice. And my dr says they go hand in hand. Interested to see if anyone had the same experience

Some people it’s better for their mental health to be induced, which can prevent ppd. It’s conversation that only you and your med team can decide

I’m in the “advanced maternal age” category for this pregnancy. I also live 1.5 hours from a hospital that can deliver my baby so I will also be having an elective induction at 39 weeks.

Oh my gosh , the pitocin also made me swell BAD. I had so much swelling post partum than prior.

I pushed for an induction at 39 weeks because 1. I had an hour 1.5ish drive to the hospital I had to deliver at 😬 and 2. I didn't want anyone panicking. Did that go as planned? Nope! 🤦♀️😅 my water broke at home the night before my induction! So, the nurses teased me about lol

Girl, I’m terrified my water breaks or they break my water. I have a baby immediately the last one my third, the doctor broke my water in 15 minutes later I was pushing and he even asked the nurse. Did I break her water 30 minutes ago? She said 10. 😂😂

No judgement here. I chose C-section so I didn’t have to sit in labor for hours. We all have our preferences mama but the end result is always the same ❤️can’t wait to see you with your sweet addition 💕

I go really quick after my water is broken my dr came over from his office at lunch broke my water and I went from a 6 to 10 and baby here all in 30 minutes on his lunch break lol

My daughter-in-law had an induction, and the doctor kept raising her Pitocin every so often and she gave birth within three hours of them starting the Pitocin

I was induced with my first and was in active labor for FIVE DAYS! I couldn’t do it anymore and said give me the damn c section or I’m going to do it myself.. he was here 25 mins later 😆 I hope this delivery is quick and easy for you!

I was induced with my first due to preeclampsia, my 2,3&4 where also induced, I also enjoyed it much rather than going into labor because my husband and I both worked and we new what days for him to take off work so he didn't miss the births

Also unpopular opinion if your doctor is fine with it and so are you who tf cares if you want an elective induction cause you’re over pregnancy 😂 I did with my son cause I didn’t want to have him over Thanksgiving. I was induced with both and it was amazing lol

Getting induced at 38 weeks over here! I had a stillbirth at 32 weeks in 2021 with my daughter and with my son in 2022 I was induced and I am choosing to have another induction with this baby girl 🙏🏼

They gave me ambien when I was in labor and I hallucinated for 16 hours 😅 then I fell asleep hard when it was time to push

My 1st I went into labor naturally, it was 22hrs with complications for myself and my baby. my 2nd I was induced, it was only 7hrs and stress free for myself and baby.
