I’m so sorry, beautiful. 💔 My mom was diagnosed with colon cancer just a week ago, and she’s decided to refuse treatment. The doctors have told us that without emergency surgery, she may not even make it to September. I’m completely devastated, so while I can’t fully understand your pain, my heart hurts alongside yours. No matter how old we are, we always need our moms. I am so incredibly sorry that you’re having to go through this. I also lost my bonus mom, who I was very close to, and I’m still not okay. I miss her every single day. But over time, I’ve found comfort in the little signs she sends and in feeling her presence. I pray that one day you’ll feel those moments too, and that they’ll bring you even a small measure of peace. I’m sending you the biggest, tightest hug. Please know you’re not alone. ❤️

Exactly how I feel about my dad. He suffered so much at the end, and seeing him pass the way he did was truly traumatizing. He was a good man. He didn’t deserve that. I feel this to my core. I’m sorry that you feel the same.

Lost my dad to cancer. I grieve everyday and it hurts like hell but i hear my dad voice when he said to me in Spanish “Si esta es la voluntad de Dios, aunque no lo entienda mija yo lo accepto. Pero necesito que tu tambien lo entiendas” 🥺

I think people who say everything happens for a reason has never had something truly detrimental happen to them. Maybe to them it has helped them make sense but to people who are going through unimaginable things there is no reason good enough. I’m sorry about your mom 🫶🏼

There’s no damn reason my mom had open heart surgery. No damn reason she’s getting on dialysis. But she’s here so I’m grateful but the day she leaves me I’m scared of how angry I’ll be at god.
