I’ve been a Material’s Manager for 14 years the thing that hurts the most is ERP literacy / data entry. If you don’t know how to enter work orders or do adjustments properly, you shouldn’t be in the system. This fixes 50% of your problems

there's someone in my department pulling orders very wrong right now. usually it's just me and my inventory numbers are spot on. but its busy so I've had others helping and sooo much shit is wrong. and we just did inventory man. makes me look bad cuz its mainly my department. my boss said he knows it ain't me tho

I never understood it till I did it. Cant tell you how many times I found full pallets of missing items in racks that never got scanned into the location systematically but was physically there. Some pallets worth millions.. product shoved in random places they don’t belong. The counts are off and having to figure out if we gained or lost them at some point. The list goes on.
