I feel like this idea of lesbian transmen is very connected with the sense I have as a nonbinary person that all love i express is inherently queer. my love towards women is akin to lesbianism and my love towards men is akin to gayness. does that make sense? like, if a transman feels his love towards women is inherently queer, then its likely he may identify with the label lesbian

im so confused because i thought only transmasc people can be lesbian and not trans men, but i also will NEVER tell anyone they cant be someone because who am i to tell them? Nobody. Nobody can tell u what u are but yourself. I called myself lesbian growing up, then bisexual, and as I transitioned I stayed bisexual. I have been questioning if I really like men tho. But it would be so odd to call myself straight because I’ve never been straight 😭 But then again I feel like for me personally, calling myself a lesbian would cause gender dysphoria

I actually got to lesbianism through my tansness! and it was a difficult and lonely journey and yhe acceptance of my lesbianism felt like an embrace, the final piece of the puzzle.

that's always were I'm annoyed people put their line. a transmasc butch on T with top surgery is fine but a transman is not. you could not differential them in a bar, they have more intersection in gender and sexuality than they may have with fem lesbians, but one is fine but the other not. mind you bcs lot of people have a particular view of trans men. overall I wish people would stop policing everyone else queer identity online

my brother had this discussion in a funny way. OK so my brother is trans F to M. he has a female partner. they were having issues with his father in law. He, the father is suffering from dementia, had a lot of trouble with his daughter dating women. But he decided, before transition that his daughters latest partner was a man called Glen.. thats not my brothers name. so they just decided that since transition, they are in a straight relationship...and his name is Glen at home...lol
