There is a difference between best and greatest. Brunson is not a better player than Ewing. You can argue greatness, but Brunson has only played 4 years with the Knicks. Ewing played FIFTEEN YEARS. Not to mention he pretty much has every Knicks record.

Kevin Durant is the best player to play in Thunder, Russ is the greatest Thunder, Shai won a ring for them, but I'll never call him a Thunder.

Wades the greatest Heat player of all time, but LeBron was the best player ever to wear a Miami Heat jersey. Same rules apply here

We gotta relax about this Brunson all time over Ewing talk. Could he get there? Absolutely. He has only been there for four seasons. When he gets more years under his belt he will probably pass Ewing but as of now absolutely not. We had this same conversation with Shai over KD/Russ but the difference is KD only played in Seattle/OKC for 9 seasons and Russ only had 11 while Ewing played 15 seasons in New York

you can definitely be the best all time player on a team and never win a ring, Look at Russell Westbrook, Kemba Walker Chris Paul for the New Orleans Hornets, 0 rings and yet they are the best all time player for each team, AD has won a ring, he isnt better then CP3

I don’t think best is the word he’s looking for he has to use the word GREATEST because great and best are two different things

I agree with this walt or reed over Ewing. Ewing impact value in the offs just isnt compared to walt or reed. The trailblazers is probably dame or bill walton, but I get why it was said. its circumstances, but all and all good takes.
