@prayglobalmovement: 1. Prepare the Sacrifice (Romans 12:1) God is looking for living sacrifices. We first build the altar by offering the fullness of ourselves to Him. Our desires, plans, ambitions, and lives must be laid down before God. 2. Prioritise Consistency (Leviticus 6:12-13) Someone can pray for 10 hours once a year and see little fruit because an altar requires consistent tending. A bonfire continues to burn because wood is added to it regularly. In the same way, a prayer altar is sustained through daily devotion. 3. Expect Fire (1 Kings 18:36-38) When Elijah repaired the altar and presented the sacrifice, God answered by fire. As we build in faith, God will respond. His power will be revealed, hearts will be transformed, and lives will be set ablaze for His glory.
