i’m a RPhT. we have been asking the pt if they’d like to do a compound version in the mean time. if they do we call the doctor and if approved formulate to match dosage of the patch. thank goodness my pharmacy is able to offer the pt some form of replacement in the meantime

I’m a RPh at a mail order pharmacy and haven’t seen a shortage. I check orders for weekly and semi weekly at all doses. May consider checking with mail order pharmacies if local ones can’t get it

I can get them but dang, I can't keep them on for an entire week. No matter where I place the patch, I've tried cleaning the area with alcohol, no lotion all the things. It peels off

as a pharmacy tech, it is so hard to see the same patients that have been waiting months for these patches and still we have none on our shelves. the only estradiol product we can easily get out hands on is the tablets sadly.

I am also a NP in gyn. I unfortunately am struggling with this for my patients and myself. Especially when probably 75% of my patients are using the patches. But I had to switch to oral estradiol this week and I just want my patch back. This sucks.

I picked up from a pharmacy in another town nearby, they said they JUST got them in, had a wait list of over 60 patients, and that some drove several towns away to find a pharmacy with some in stock

I've been having patients speak with their doctor about possibly trying the tablets because we haven't been able to order the patches in months! definitely very frustrating for pharmacies to!

What do you think of Yaz for PMDD? I’ve been on high dose HRT E,P and T for 6 months now and still not helping my PMDD and peri! I’m on the high dose to stop ovulation! Which I know Yaz can do and is much more simple….. I’m giving up on HRT, it’s exhausting! I’m only 38

CPhT here! Our pharmacy compounds estradiol cream! We offer that as an alternative for doctors since there is such a huge back order on them right now! The dosage completely customizable for patients based on what strength they need. We work closely with the doctors to ensure the proper dosage and ratio for the hormones!

I was just prescribed these. The paperwork that comes with the RX still has the warning that this causes cancer. I was wondering if the FDA removed the warning why it was still in my paperwork
