I would normally agree, but a vast majority of her posts and what she talks about have nothing to do with her husband. She seems to not want attacks on her husband, which is valid. Divorce is hard enough as is.

It seems like you’re more irritated by the masses on the internet than by her completely inoffensive and understandable request for privacy. She’s fine to request it (even though it’s a bit rich). You’re fine to ignore it (even though it’s a bit mean). Nobody is perfect, everybody is hopefully doing their best.

I didn’t see the video, but I don’t think you’re mean. I also think Jen H has dedicated her life and platform to helping others, so people feel protective of her. She was allowed to ask for privacy - it’s a legitimately difficult situation - and people are allowed make a personal decision about how to respond to that request.

100% agree and I’m a huge fan of hers. I think she’s a good person and I really like her. If she were a minor, or this was about her kids, or if she was someone (for whatever reason) who was thrust into fame without their consent, it would be a different story. But she’s an adult and she makes money from people have parasocial relationships with her. She doesn’t have to share any more but people are gonna talk.

I’m alittle more sympathetic to a Hudson Williams because I think the really fast ascent is alittle unnatural and takes time to adjust (vs someone who works their way up to fame step by step). But I agree overall that it’s apart of the job, and a very lucrative job, they chose.
