I would recommend investing in the Ryobi cordless hot glue gun. I did and it is amazing.

This is STUNNING. How’s the hot glue hold up? I was told to avoid hot glue for LARP garb because it gets weird if you leave a piece like this in the summer heat or in a hot car/tent. I’ve not had an issue but someone tried to dock me points on a competition piece I entered for using hot glue.
