@leoniewiththecurls: A 2021 review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology found that microneedling alone increased total hair count more than topical 5% minoxidil alone. To be clear: “alone” means each treatment was studied by itself. The review also found that microneedling + minoxidil performed best overall. I’m not saying minoxidil doesn’t work, I’m saying microneedling is worth researching if you’re looking into hair regrowth. ⚠️ If you decide to try microneedling: • Always sanitize your tool before and after use • Only microneedle on a clean scalp • Use very light pressure • Don’t overdo it (stick to 1–2x per week) source: Gupta et al. Low density means harder to get wet an the harder for hair to absorb water right?

𝒟 :
It increases the surface area of the skin by poking miniature holes in it so more monoxidil is absorbed !!
