This trip was so beautiful!! Some of the things which impacted me the most - A woman who was in tears, absolutely sobbing, telling me about her husband who had such a horrific p*rn addiction that they ended up going into debt and loosing everything and how even though he passed many years ago, she has crippling insecurity because of the way her husband would constantly choose these women over her. She directly said “drug & alcohol addiction was nothing compared to how destructive the sex & p*rn addiction was.” - I’m meeting more young girls who are being sexually abused by their brothers when they’re young due to them watching p*rn at such a young age and acting it out on their siblings. - Even in Europe girls are watching BOP house content / only f*ns girls on TikTok and wanting to be like them (this was in the church btw). - How much shame believers are still in, not understanding they truly are forgiven and free because of Jesus and truly do not have to like in embarrassment and shame. - It still is hard to comprehend how much radical story of how Jesus changed my life in 5 days brings so much hope to people. I hope to be able to forever share on the incomprehensible way Jesus saved my life, and that I’m not anything special, this is on offer for every human. If you are struggling with something that is in your past and it haunts you, please whisper out loud to yourself even if you don’t believe “Jesus will you help me? I can’t do this on my own”.
