I used to have HS on my bikini line, and I originally bought glycolic acid to help fade some dark spots on my face. On a whim, I decided to try it on my HS too. To my surprise, it worked really well for me! It dried the lesion up, and now it’s completely gone. I’m not a doctor or a nurse, just someone sharing my personal experience with HS. What worked for me may not work for everyone, but I wanted to share in case it helps someone else.

If you have HS and are on birth control, do NOT switch to nexplanon. It made my flareups 10x worse and gave me flareups on my groin. Left school MANY times due to how much pain I was in.
