for the price of the away imo it should have a strap for the laptop pocket. both such cute bags though! I'd have a hard time choosing a favorite if I was in the market for a beach bag

Hey rilee! I’ve watched all the backpack videos and all the tote bag videos. But I’m looking for a tote backpack 😬. With handles long enough to carry over the shoulder (even with a winter jacket on). To use for work, so laptop sleeve needed. Any recommendations?!

I’m not a “pink person” so would definitely go for the Away simply based on how it better matches my style. But if the checkered Bon Maxie came in light green (mint/seafoam/pistachio) I would be ALL IN!!

I like the Away, but for the price I’d expect it to look a bit sleeker, maybe because it’s not as structured, it always looks a bit rumpled!

the @Bon Maxie comes in 3 sizes. I have the mini for day to day and the medium of work. Excellent organisation and very well made. Their packing cells and toiletries bags are great too.
