The only medical care facility I have ever felt cared for and not like a burden was my planned parenthood. They even dimmed the lights in my room and play music on the speakers to relax you. I get they deal with patient after patient but we’re also people not just your job.

I spent 20 years with constant headache because my childhood doctor decided that I was lying and never did any brain scan when I am in about headaches. at 26 i developed turrets and when I went to a neurologist for that I naturally had to get a brain scan. turns out my brain grew in wrong and was blocking the flow of spinal fluid. my head hurt because of the excess pressure from that squishing my brain. I now have meds to stop it and the doc wants me scanned every year to make sure it a) doesnt get worse and b) didnt cause life-changing damag. 20 years though, all of my formative ones spent in pain all because one doctor didnt believe my pain.

Don’t use the plural. You had a bad encounter with your doctor. I’m 64 and throughout my life I’ve ran into some incredible doctors.
