@.lifewith_cc: Today was one of those days loneliness really hit, my apartment building held a pool party for all residents instead of having fun I kinda felt sorry for myself as I looked around and everyone was in their groups, talking, laughing, catching up and there I was, by myself. I know people will say ‘go make friends’ but unless you’ve moved to a different country on your own it’s hard to explain how difficult that can be, your starting from zero, no friends, no family nothing. This isn’t a pity post I’m genuinely grateful that I got to take this chance, I choose to do it and I’m so fkn proud of myself but I also think no one talks about this side at all! Some times the hardest part isn’t moving countries it’s building a new life from scratch when everyone around you is already settled. If your going through the same thing just know your not alone.
