The scripture clearly admonishes us in 1 Timothy that we should dress decently, modestly, and appropriately as children of God. Christianity is not just about confession; it is also reflected in our conduct, appearance, and lifestyle. Any spirit that pushes believers toward indecency and unnecessary exposure is not of God. The spirit of seduction is subtle, and many have unknowingly yielded to it in the name of fashion and modern civilization. Take it or leave it, there must still be a clear difference between the world and the Church. You cannot approach the communion table carelessly and irreverently. The Holy Communion represents the body and blood of Jesus Christ. It is sacred, honorable, and should never be approached without discernment, reverence, and proper conduct. The house of God is not a place for sensual display or worldly attention-seeking. As believers, we must do better in the way we present ourselves before God and before men. Dressing modestly is not oppression; it is honor, discipline, and respect for God’s presence. I also commend the Rev. Father for taking a stand on discipline and reverence in God’s house. Correction may be painful, but it helps preserve order, purity, and respect for sacred things. May this serve as a warning and lesson so that next time, wisdom, modesty, and godly behavior will prevail.
